NCOHR and IADH new contributors on Oasis Discussions

We are pleased to announce the joining of the Network for Canadian Oral Health and Research (NCOHR) and the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (IADH) as contributors on Oasis Discussions.

Dr. David Baird, President of the British Columbia Dental Association

The British Columbia Dental Association is pleased to welcome Dr. David Baird as President of its 2014–2015 Board of Directors. With over 34 years of rural practice experience, Dr. Baird has been involved in organized dentistry from the start of his career. As a student, he chaired the CDA’s Council on Student Affairs and has since served the profession as BCDA President-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer and Upper Island District Board representative as well as on numerous committees and task forces. Dr. Baird is joined by fellow table officers, Dr. Peter Lobb, President-Elect and Dr. Robert Staschuk, Secretary-Treasurer.

 

NCOHR Annual Student Workshop: Enhancing Student Involvement in Oral Health Research

The Network for Canadian Oral Health Research (NCOHR) hosts the second Canadian dental student workshop: Enhancing Student Involvement in Oral Health Research. The workshop is held at the School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta on June 16 and 17, 2014. The workshop is open to graduate students and faculty members from each dental school in Canada.
